another handcent question

My handcent shortcut on my home screen has a solid green dot on it where it would normally show me a count and it is locked (won't take me to msgs when i touch it).  I can get to them through the apps folder and have cleared all my msgs but it is stuck on that homepage.  What  happened?

Perhaps it has become corrupt or is conflicting with another app. Have you tried deleting the shortcut, restarting your phone, and then create a new shortcut. If that doesn't work, try uninstalling/reinstalling Handcent. You could also try a soft reset.

Also could be conflicting with the Native App if not disabled

Hey Jess. If you haven't done what they've already suggested for you, that's what you need to do. I've had this happen 2 times. You have to delete the icon and reinstall. You lose all your text records but small price to pay. Hope that helps.
