That's not a bug! It's a feature request...

I have not done the research but I think this is the time the phone is not in a hybernation (power save) mode... I usually get around 30% awake time...

Jose is correct.  Awake time is just the time your phone's screen is on (awake) since the last reboot.

I had the youmail app installed on my Hero, and after deleting it my phone started sleeping like a newborn baby Grin, now have about 15% to 30% awake time now. Before deleting youmail it stayed at 100% awake.

If your awake time is only 35 minutes out of an entire day, that's a good thing. This would seem to indicate that your phone is functioning as it should. Prior to the update there was an issue with battery drain because Bluetooth and something else weren't shutting down the way they should.

IMHO the bottom line is this, if you're battery usage seems to be in line with how you're using the phone, then the Awake Time should be a non-issue. If you're battery seems to be draining quickly and your usage is minimal then you should look into it. All of this having been said to lead to the fact that most reported this problem as no longer existing after the latest update.

Up time - the amount of time the phone has been turned on

Awake time - the amount of time the phone has not been sleeping.(which means the time you have been doing stuff on it)
