Changing something simple.

Is it possible to change the sound my Hero makes when i get a text message? Yes, i've tried going through Notification sounds, but even then, the sound doesn't change. The little beep the phone makes when i do receive a text, isn't even the same sound that i have set for my notification sound. The only way that that specific sound will play is when i insert the SD card, or when connecting phone to computer. I bet its pretty simple, however, i, and anyone i know that is phone savy can't figure out this particular problem. Is it even possible to change the sound the phone makes when receiveing a text? Help would be surely apreciated.

Also if you have ringers you downloaded or made your self you can make the directory Media/audio/ringtones/notifications.  Now when you go to choose the ringtone or notification tone any that you put in the last folder will show up for you to choose.
