contacts NOT using facebook photo

Hello I stumbled upon this place while trying to find an answer to my problem and it looks nice I thought I'd stay

so heres my problem, I have a lot of friends that don't use there pictures for there facebook profiles and would like to add my own photo to use instead, I've tried a few time to figure this out and am not having any luck. Every time it just reverts back to their facebook profile pic. I want to keep them linked so I can see there updates etc. can anyone spread any light on this for me?

You can use a different photo than their Facebook photo. Go into People. Click on the one you want to change. Click up top where it says their name and underneath it says details. If the contact is linked to their Facebook page, then here up next to the photo should have a little down arrow. Click it and that should bring up a menu that says Select contact photo.
