I LOVE my HTC Hero but I am so frutrated!  All of a sudden my hotmail will no longer refresh.  I have it set to update every 4 hours, but I can refresh it manually.  I know for a fact that there are new emails on my account, but they aren't coming over to my phone.  I shows the "chasing arrows" as it refreshes but nothing new is showing up.  You all know more than me, so tell me please......what do I need to do?

I have been seen the same thing for a while now.  It is also happening for my yahoo account as well.

I'm not sure but it might have to do something with the server settings on the phone, but not sure.  If I figure something out I'll post it.

I have now completely uninstalled and re-set up my hotmail account and it seems to be working ok.

You are also having a problem with your Handcent shortcut. I would try a soft reset to see if that fixes all the problems.

I have tried to reset the email accounts and play with the setting, but my Hotmail and Yahoo accounts are not refreshing at all, not even showing any mail.

What is up with Handcent?  It should have to do nothing with the email accounts.

She posted a similar problem about Handcent in another thread. Since she is having multiple problems I suggested a soft reset.

I had to do the same thing with my Yahoo account.  I have two of them and only one wasn't giving me emails.  My hotmail isn't displaying my emails either.

Oh, COOL...   Grin

However I can only get to work my Gmail account,  Hotmail is only showing one email from last year, I think is the oldest email I have on the account.
