How do I fix the (current) weather location?  I've called my sprint store a couple of times, no luck yet. So hunting on the internet for my answer.  The clock/weather widget on the home page - I love it.  BUT it says I am in a town about 200 miles from where I am currently.  Would really like it to find a city closer.   Earlier this morning, it did change to Kansas City, pretty darn close, could live with that - but then it changed back to Preston, MO.   Had to look up where that was - small town south of Warsaw MO.  Anyway.... can anyone help me?  I have tried turning phone off/on, taking the battery out, checked the GPS location setting - it is correct.   Also tried deleting the widget and re-adding it.  Didn't work.  Trying to find a way to fix it w/o having to go back to the store.  One rep said they may have to give me a new phone... really???
Thanks in advance!

Try updating your Profile and PRL and see if that helps.

Thank you, it worked.   I'll have to call my Sprint store and give them a heads up.

As far as I know, either the PRL or Profile is looking at a specific cell tower so if that is wrong then certain things on your phone will be wrong - like your location. I think it's interesting that the Sprint Store tech didn't try that...oh well...it's fixed now.

Your profile is basically what data services you have permission to use. The PRL stands for preferred roaming list, basically what towers you can access for roaming that don't belong to Sprint.

I accidentally deleted the current location and now I can't get it back.  I've updated my Profile and PRL with the GPS on and it still won't show the current location.  It says "My location" below the clock.  Is there another way to fix it?
