Hello everybody,
can anyone here help me regarding the sending and receiving of files like music videos pictures etc via bluetooth to and from any other phones? i am not about to shares things from my hero to any other phone.

my phone is able to search the other phone on bluetooth but not able to send data.

Is it possible to do so or not? please help me.

go to the market place and download a bluetooth file share app. They work fine for me. I could never get the phone to send anything, so i just use the app. Hope this helps!  Smiley

thanx 4 ur reply, i already tried that but it says it works in higher version of android OS not in 1.5, do i need to upgrade my phone first, actually i just bought this phone, pretty new to the apps and all. which firmware u r using???

Anytime. But im running a custom firmware right now called Fresh 1.1 because i rooted it and got ROM on it. My phone is a little more complicated than yours is right now haha. But if you want i can send you a link to the videos that helped me root it. Its easy and SAFE!

if you root it, it will be more customizable haha. Like you can add custom ROM's and you will be able to use your phone as wifi to connect to your computer wireless. It comes with a tethering app that lets you do that.

I'm running Fresh 1.1 and Bterminal didnt worked for me. I was able to find other phones and aparently the other phone was able to pair but I never received any notification. It stayed searching...

Oh. But you said up there that you where running Fresh 1.1. That is based on Android 1.5.
