god i hope its not a virus, and yes i have reset multiple times. if it is a virus is there a possible remedy? Are viruses that common on these phones yet?
I'm not sure if there are any known viruses on the Android OS yet, but I think that a memory management problem is more likely.
I know this is semantic but the use of the word virus has the fell of being somewhat alarmist. I think there is a MUCH greater possibility there is a memory leak in something that you have installed. On the outside there could be some sort of Malware but, even that sounds unlikely
Just bear in mind most of the apps in the store are open source projects developed by extremely small teams. As such, there is a much higher likelihood that the people who purchase them are more akin to alpha testers, in some cases, than consumers.
I hope i haven't offended.

I think the distinction is an important one.
