* Up all night trying to figure out if its that I need a better Video player APP or I'm not converting my AVI files into MP4's properly, but I still haven't been able to get and play a Movie I converted and Saved to my MicroSD card on my Hero (Sprint).
I trialed the following APPs...
- Albums (OEM)
- Media Player (Trial)
- Meridian (Free)
- aPlayer (Free)
1st:
I Converted using 'various' settings with HANDBRAKE with only audio at best, although every convertion file I made I could play on QuickTime. That was misleading!
2nd: I tried BOO5TED's suggetion to use Format Factory 2.20, but
- I tried both the 'MP4 320x240 MPEG4' and the ''Google 'GX 480x320' since they were the same res. as listed in the Hero's screen Specs. I linked/listed above.
Conclusions:
1. 'Format Factory' worked with both formats. Thanks BOO5TED!
2. I was able to play 'Format Factory' converted videos on all video players listed above.
3. - Media Player (Trial) by BlueMediaLab.com took forever to access SD files. 1 Star
4. - The Video fills the screen Horizontally, but not Vertically.
I may play with settings and see if I can find a truly 'FULL' screen conversion.
