Hi guys,

Im looking for a dash mount for my Hero. Similar to the ones for GPS units. I saw one in a video from Google, the one for the new Google Maps that is comming with the next Android installment. Something like that would be great.

Yep that would be nice, the one for the Droid is sweet.  I search ebay from time to time for new stuff for the Hero.  Hopefully someone makes something soon.   Undecided

That one is good but I dont think it would work in landscape mode as well as in portrait mode. I think I'll end up making one myself Tongue...

Hi guys,

I contacted ProClip because they did not had a mount for Sprint's Hero. They created one and sent me the link to the page.

http://www.proclipusa.com/default.asp?sectionpath=143&processor=asp&asp_processor=product&pageid=8900&sectionid=143&countryID=0&isadmin=0&pagecategoryid=&ppagecategoryid=&action=proclipcategorysearch&wizard=&step=&siteid=&parent_category=4&d_pcat=13722&d_cat=17902

The price is a little bit high and you need to select a mount specific for your car. That bumps the price even more... but its an option...

Bad news is that I have a Susuki Aerio and they don't have a mount for it yet Sad
I could not find a GPS-like dash mount either (the bean-bag one)... If you find one please let me know!

I'm traveling on Sunday... so I'm gonna have to hold it in my hand while driving Sad  I need this mount desperately!

You're not serious about holding the phone while you're driving are you?

Just turn up the volume and put it on your lap or in a cup holder. That's what I do for now.

And I dont trust the navigator...
The only time that I have had trouble with the voice navigation is when my phone was breaking. I have been with Sprint for 2 years now and I always toss the phone in the center console and just listen to the voice. It either gets me where I am going or it says, You are Off Track and it stops directing me (that was on my Instinct). I also have a Garmin and when I use it, it lays in the center console as well...I just need to hear the voice.
