I tried to read it but couldn't. I knew that if I was wrong you would tell me Cheesy

Well, either Sprint has just listed the specs incorrectly or they are selling a lesser capacity battery.

It was shipped from China on 12/3. I continue to wait.

Shipping Review - This is a bummer.

At long last, the battery arrived yesterday and I picked it up today. So, if you order it, know that it is going to take about a month to arrive. Ordered on 11/18. Shipped on 12/3 arrived on 12/10.

It was 79% charged when I put it in the phone and now it's at 100% less than an hour later. There are explicit instructions about charging/draining the first 4 or 5 times so I am about to start that process now. I will let you know how long it lasts before it's down to 12% and I recharge it. They say never to drain the battery to 0 percent.

That's good advice about not draining it all the way.  I have read other people in other forums right now, trying to 'condition' their battery by draining ALL the way.
I used to fly radio control, using Lithium technology batteries, and I can tell ya, draining them ALL the way is dangerous, let alone doesn't create any advantages or benefits.
Following the manufacturers recommendations for conditioning the battery at the beginning is the safest, and most boring, of course, but safest.  Who wants to live on the edge anyway, when it come to batteries, which could potentially burn you up, or explode.  (I'm referring to mainly the Lithium Polymer with this sentence) Smiley

Cheers!

So, I believe that I have properly conditioned the battery. Today I started listening to streaming music at 6:26am and I have 3 emails accounts that are constantly checking for email every 15 minutes. GPS is always on. It is now 10:35am and my battery capacity is at 16%. I think that's a huge improvement over the standard battery. Also, this battery seems to charge faster than the original but I could be wrong on that one.

What were you at before you started streaming music? I hope not 100% cuz you used 84% in three hours.

I was at 100 percent. With my OEM battery, I only got 2 hours before the phone was dead. I got 4 hours of streaming before I put the phone back on the charger and it was at 12 percent then. I'll take it!

Final answer - The Mugen gives me a good day of use - streaming music, updating emails, surfing the web, etc, whereas the standard battery only gives me about 3/4 of a day before I have to charge it. I think the update made more of a difference than buying the Mugen but I do like knowing if I am away from my charger, I won't be stuck with a dead battery when using the Mugen.

Ok, so I ordered one on the 5th and received it today.   Grin  Just need to condition it like the directions said.  F3 did you notice you could see the white on the battery through the grill on the back side next to the speaker?  Oh well, nothing a black paint marker can't fix.  Should drain the battery pretty good listening to the live broadcast of the NFL Playoff games this weekend!!  Sorry Kurt but you and your silly birdies are going down  HAHA!
