ive had my hero since november and my biggest complant has been the battery.it just dies too fast.i brought the seidio 3500mah extended battery at mobilecityonline.com for $54.00 and i have to say it was worth every penny.ive been using everthing on my hero and the battery is at 50% after being unplugged from the charger 18 hours ago.my old battery would need to be recharged about 8 hour after i unpluggged it from the charger.the battery comes with a new back for the hero because its about twice the size of the stock one.i highly recommend this for anyone that has to walk around with their phone charger in their pocket.2 thumbs up

boriqua2000, How is the new battery cover holding up with the new extended battery?
I was reading the reviews from the site, and one of them says that it tends to slip off sometimes.

the battery cover is my only disapointment.it doesn't really lock into place like the stock one does.it hasn't slipped off but it feels like it would if im not careful.also it's not flush with the phone so there are little spots around the edges that dirt or dust can get inside the phone.the part of the cover where the camera and the speakers are,is nothing more than a bunch of holes.it doesn't have that little peice of plastic that the stock cover has that protects the lens of the camera and prevents dirt from getting in.those are my only compliants.i love this battery.i took it off the charger yesterday at 5:00PM and didn't have to recharge until today at 9:00PM.i work nights so i use my phone all night long watching videos, listening to music, texting and surfing the net.they say that the battery won't work at its full potential until after the first few charges and i belive it.the first charge lasted 24 hours the second lasted 29.ill let you know how long it lasts after the 5th charge.

Has anyone tried this battery with a cover?  I use Amzer's rubberized snap on crystal hard case, and i LOOOOVE it.  But would it fit with this battery?

Has anyone found Protective Cases for the Extended Covers?
 - I wish Body Glove made an Extended one.

2>
As far as another option for an Extended Battery and Cover......
This one looks a bit more OEM. (By Mugen Power)
