Hey guys... Considering the short battery life, I've been trying to find a spare battery charger for this phone. I found this and am curious as to whether or not anyone has tried this one out. http://www.ecrater.com/product.php?pid=5755271 If not, has anyone been able to find a spare battery charger specifically for this phone? I really don't want to get a universal charger that I have to manually adjust... laziness, I guess Thanks all! *Update* I found this one too... http://www.expansys-usa.com/d.aspx?i=187629 Any thoughts would be appreciated... including user experiences with those particular sellers... Thanks again!

Check e-bay under battery for Sprint HTC Hero. There are several listings for two 1500 MaH batteries and a desk charger for 16.99. I have ordered these for my old HTC Touch Pro and was very satisfied.

Hey, just FYI, I just contacted expansys to check on the charger and they told me that it is NOT for the US version of the Hero... even though it says US version on the site... sure glad I checked first! haha! Thanks Phil37, I will likely go the ebay route now! Much appreciation!

The plugs are the same, so what would be different besides the bottoms of the phones? It should still work tho.

The charger for MOTO Q works well with my HERO. I had one left over when the Q died and I am using it on HERO.

The charger for the Hero is a simple Mini USB charger. You may have a lot of them around as those are very common... It looks different since HTC added more pins to it. But the mini plug is compatible.

Seems kinda cheap for what your getting and International shipping, don't you think?

Get a cheap Blackberry USB charger... or Motorola... or your Digital Camera or bluetooth headset. Almost everything that charges through USB is mini USB... I have a lot of them at home... I even just found one on my rental car... some one leaved it there...

hmmm, not bad. I was just concerned about the low cost versus how far away it is.
