So, I have found a nice combination. Bar Code Scanner and androlib.com. Instead of search for apps on my phone, I go to androlib and "look around" until I find something that I want to try. Then I let Bar Code Scanner scan the QR code and bam, in two clicks I'm downloading the app. You don't even have to press the trackball to take a pic of the QR code.

There is an app called Better Keyboard that is just AWESOME! The app costs $3.99 but is well worth the money, It makes texting on the Hero so much easier and precise(especially in landscape mode) Kinda reminds me of texting on our old Instincts. Once you've bought the program you can also download lots of free skins that change the color of the keyboard. This is really the keyboard that should have been the Hero's default one..

If its similar to the Instinct no thanks, I couldn't avoid hitting the ? when going for space key. I prefer hitting the . on the Hero lol

Ah, and I have to add Locale app. Only had it 24 hours but I can't wait until I work with its infinite situations.

Can some one say if Open Home is worth purchasing?

LOL @ the ? statement. Yeah, that was a pain. On the Hero, I hit all kinds of random stuff but the predictive text/spell checker is my savior.

Now that I'm having to reinstall the apps I had on the previous Hero, I've found a new ones that I really like.

Flexills - Antivirus but it scans every app that you install. Runs in the background. They also give you 1.5 gb of storage to backup contacts and pictures. There is a phone finder but I am in discussions with them because it is not working for me.
