The downloaded apps I keep on the home screen are

iMusic=download songs directly to your phone.

Weatherbug= Best weather maps.

Transdroid= control utorrent on computer from the phone.

Astro file manager

Handcent sms

Advanced Task Killer= I like that it stays in the notification shade and remembers which apps to kill

*Quick camera= faster pics and stealth mode

Robodefence for fun

*Edit spelling

I downloaded iMusic and the screen that pops up when you first open it says something about needing to delete the songs?

I definitely didn't need to delete any songs and I can't recall the message. It does technically say it is not for pirating songs, and you are responsible for songs that it lets you download. To be safe you could just swap the memory card for a blank one just to test.

I just found Media Fly today. All kinds of audio podcasts. The Android version on their website doesn't work on our phones but I read the forum and they have provided an older version that will work.

I read this back when it was posted, but i wasn't sure i wanted to mess with it.  After getting sick of my status bar opening, and twice an app on my home screen ( Huh? ) i d/l'd it the other day and i am so very very happy.  I was hesitant at first because i dial a lot of numbers that use extensions, etc., so i wasn't sure how quickly it would unlock when you pulled it away, but it is really quick!

So I just wanted to say thanks BOO! I wouldn't have even known to get an app like this!

PS - I bestow thee a cookie! Smiley
