I just got my hero yesterday and am still trying to set things up the way I want them..
I have tried every FB app I can find and can't seem to figure out which one works best for me, none of them really work the way I want them to.
What FB are YOU using?

Assuming that FB is Facebook, the one on the Android market works well for me. I especially like the widget where it can update my status and see my friends' status quickly. It would help if we knew just how you wanted it to work. Hope this helps.

sorry, yes a little clarification probably would have helped.
Yes FB as in facebook.
But actually, now that i've played with it a little bit more, i think i do like the facebook out of the market. I tried babbler lite and i don't really like it. I was looking for something that would alert me to certain things, and the facebook app seems to do that. the only thing i don't see a notification for is if you comment on something, and someone comments after you. although i had that on my old blackberry and found it annoying, so i may not miss it....

I am using the stock one that is under the bookmarks. I have not had much issues with it. Sometimes its not fully updated but then if I hit the home button twice it refreshes it. I have not tried any app store ones yet.

You can also shake the phone and it will update
But, the best way to access FB is to go to touch.facebook.com in the browser. You can access everything, notifications, email, friend requests.

only problem with the touch site is i can't find a place where my notifications are displayed? (when someone comments on my wall, or on a status update?) The mobile site does that but the touch site goes so much faster...

when I view the touch site, the notifications are in the top left hand corner, it shows a red number for new notifications, or just a blue picture of a list or something, click on that and it will take you to notifications screen. I just started using facebook for android form the market, so far it seems ok, and I think it will get me by till we get android 2.0

ahhh, yes i wasn't popular enough to have notifications at the time :-)
ok, two more quirks... you can't reply to event invitations? and I can't seem to figure out how to comment on a pic. Other than that i'm satisfied :-)

sometimes i have an issue updating my status from the touch site. I click the "what's on your mind", and it just disappears. Anyone else have that? Is there a fix?
