What's with the Google Earth app?  Does it exist for 2.1 or not.  I can't find any links that work and searching for it doesn't find it either.  There are some great reviews for it out there.

If that is not what you're looking for (based on the version of Android that you are running) then try Googling your question and I bet you will find what you're looking for. Everyone, except for me, uses Google Earth - and my phone is rooted.

I followed the link, installed Google Earth as per the instructions and it seems to install perfectly.  The problem is, nothing happens when I tap on the icon.  Anybody else have any luck installing it on the Hero with 2.1?

@ Phil37.   Mine does the same thing.  Installed fine, but no action when I tap the icon.  I'm looking into rooting my phone, but really wanted to avoid doing that.  I guess worst comes to worst, I can re-flash my ROM.
