Pandora's rival seems to have become available for Android phones today! Slacker Radio is here!!!!

Also, I downloaded the barcode scanner, which allows you to scan the QR codes on this site, select go to browser (or something like that), and you are taken directly to the app. Saves searching in the Marketplace. I love this phone.

Preference, data streaming can be better/worse on either one. I like Pandora for older music and I like Slacker for music that is popular today.  It's just nice to have options and I like them both equally.

Hey Cat! I use both Pandora and Slacker. I listen to country and Slacker has a Current Country station that plays stuff that is on the radio now. When I want to hear older stuff...that song I just can't get out of my head...I go to Pandora. Also, I get better playback at home using Pandora whereas Slacker plays better at the office.

If you want radio....droid live lite works great.

Android Scan: pricing and metadata for anything with a barcode. Price comparisons, etc.
Works great everytime, anywhere.

And another that allows one to scan codes in magazines for extra on-line content, forgot its name.
