I have 3 different Bluetooth devices.  All are the A2DP, for use with media.  Sprint and HTC don't know what is wrong!  My Bluetooth Devices have excellent range with my old Htc Touch.  My devices with the Htc Hero Bluetooth CUTS IN and OUT anywhere from 5 feet away from the phone.  Sprint said that it was the Phone (could be defective).  I returned it for a new one.  The NEW one is doing the same thing.  NO RANGE.  All the batteries are charged.  The phone seems to Pair and Connect properly.

Does anyone else have this problem?  Is this a Hardware Issue or Software?  Should I return and try a 3rd phone?  Why have Bluetooth if it's not going to work!

Thanks,
Marc

I am not having this issue. Went outside with the dogs tonite and left my hero inside and my S9 HDs did not cut out at all. I thought they would but I was impressed they worked very well. Do u have a lot of processes going on? Some stuff running in the background? Mine will cut out ocassionally if I am pushing the processer hard.

Hey Rev I have the S9's as well, do you have connection problems when you first turn them on?, Sometimes my Hero doesn't connect right away with them and I have to turn bluetooth off and back on again to get them to connect...

Bluetooth is a weakness on the Hero, for me at least.  All my connections are pretty staticky, and there aren't a lot of profiles included.
