No problemo,  I did also notice if you have your screen timeout set low it will turn off when that time comes.

You're kidding right?  On the right side of the speaker grille is the light sensor.  Press menu - settings - sounds and display - uncheck disable auto backlight, then press the home button.  Now go into a bright room the screen will get really bright.  Now put your finger over the sensor and the screen will dim.

mine has gotten stuck in the sensor mode after a call before too. it's because you aren't in a well-enough lit area.  Happened to me the last time at a restaurant.  I just moved it around until it turned off.  I think you can hit the back button too?

So in the end, this app doesnt turn off the screen during a call. It just opens a window where you can't do anything, right?

Yes, it basically just blacks out the screen so you can't press any buttons with your face. Dani, yes you can hit back to exit too.
