So on Sprint we will have:

Samsung Moment
HTC Hero
HTC Hero 2
HTC EVO 4G
iPhone is rumored to be here by Winter.

a lot of choices, how to choose, lol.

The HTC Legend is a phone manufactured by Taiwan's HTC Corporation for the Android  platform. It was unveiled by HTC during the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona  on February 16th 2010 and went on sale on 31st March 2010

The HTC Legend, which runs the latest Android software (2.1), is made from a single block of aluminium and has a very bright and clear 3.2 inch AMOLED (Active-Matrix OLED) display. Vodafone will be selling the handset in Europe, wary of losing out after missing the iPhone in some of the company's key European markets. Vodafone also claimed exclusivity rights in terms of the handset and will be the only network provider in the UK to sell the phone.

Despite its body being engineered from a single piece of aluminium, the HTC Legend has a removable battery, which slides out from a compartment at the bottom of the phone. The back of the battery casing also contains the phone's antenna so that its metal body does not hinder signal strength.

The Legend is the successor to the popular HTC Hero and is slimmer and smaller than its predecessor.

Sprint Nextel will be releasing the HTC Legend as the HTC Hero 2.

In a "few minutes" Android 2.1 will be old because Google is moving on to 2.2. For this reason, I am moving onto the Nexus One. It has taken us a long time to get 2.1 on the Hero (still waiting) and I can bet you that Sprint/HTC are not going to update these phones to 2.2. I am betting that the Nexus One will continuously be updated to the latest version of Android and that's what I want. If Sprint has not gotten the Nexus One by September I will go back to Tmobile.

Android phones are being released every day, what phone, what operating system is a personal preference and anyone that intends to chase the latest new Android phone is nuts. One has to decide what features are best for them, buy the phone and be done with it. I want to remain up to date on the OS and I believe the best way to do that is to get my phone directly from Google.
