hI THIS IS EXCELLENT PHONE WITH GOOD CAMERA, BUT I HAVE SOME REASON TO WRITE THIS: the only problem for the flash of the camera is autoflash and red eye reduction from the fabrique, but why HTC coorporation dont make a set to turn on flash everytime maybe batery life will be short but we gonna to got beauthy pictures ,more light,low iso-low noise, this is my opinion.regards fro Igor

I could be wrong but I think the HTC Hero from Sprint has a 5 MP camera with NO flash Wink

True, but the autofocus feature helps in low-light situations.(i.e. apature is open more so at a distance).

i don't know about you but my HTC Hero's camera SUCKS. its like what ever you are taking a picture of has to be ABSOLUTELY still for a fairly decent amount of time. Its pretty much useless trying to take a pic of anything even slightly moving. I am very dissapointed with the camera personaly

Try turning auto focus off. This helped me.
