Has the HTC Sense process crashed to any of you?

My Hero which I got less than 2 weeks ago is having problems with the HTC Sense process. I was making changes on one of my screens, I saved and when it went back to the home screen some of the icons I had not made changes to were gone. I decided to restart the phone just in case but... the phone now is taking for ever to come up and it doesn't completely boot up. After the first reboot it told me that the HTC Sense process had a problem and needed to foreclose. Right now the phone is showing htc in the screen and nothing else, its been 20 mins since last reboot. I got 2 text messages but can't get to them because all I can do is press the power/end button to turn on and off the screen. Nothing else works. I guess I'll take the phone to a Sprint store during lunch time to have them check it out. I just got a 3rd text can't see it though.

Take it back NOW and get another Hero. That one has some serious issues.

Well took it to the store and they were able to reset. We will see how it goes from here.

Did you loose all your apps when they reset it or were they able to backup them up for you?

Yeah, lost everything that was installed. They could not backup anything, but... when I open the market and selected My Downloads, all the apps I downloaded were listed. I didn't have to search for them. All I had to do was hit install to re-install them. It wasn't that big of a deal.

Of all the phones that I have ever owned, this is the easiest one to reset. All of the apps are coming from the same place so you don't have to remember where they came from and there is no reason to connect the phone to the computer to replace apps. I have reset my phone maybe 3 times and only this last time did my apps show up in the "My Downloads" section. I had to do something else and when I came back to reinstall them, the list was blank except for the apps that I had paid for. It was no big deal because I had made a list of the apps that I had before I reset the phone.

This process is so easy, I could reset this phone once a week and I would never complain.
