Question about using a Hero from Sprint on Alltel.

So I've been wanting to get an Android based phone for some time now. I have Alltel right now, and no it's not Verizon by me. So I have to get an Alltel phone. At first I was going to get a HTC Touch Pro and have it flashed to Android. But I heard that you lose some of the features that way. Then I was roaming on Alltels site today, found that they offer the Hero. Of course, I'm now highly interested!

Okay, down to the question.

Sprint offers the CDMA version of the Hero . . . since Alltel also has the CDMA Hero, can I get one from Sprint and use it on Alltel? This way I can save some money.
