Did the most recent update to my wifes Hero.

I used MyBackup and saved everything to the SDcard.

The update went fine.

Went to restore everything.  Evereything seemed to restore properly..

HOWEVER, when I restore the HTC HOME settings and restart the phone I get a force close error for the htc.launcher program and nothingwill load.  The phone just gets caught in a loop of trying to run the launcher and me having to force close it.

Anyone have any ideas on what i can do?

I had the same problem with mine when I first did the update.  A hard rest fixed the problem for me.

If you did the backup with 1.5 and then tried to restore on 2.1 your home settings, you will hose the OS and get the problem you indicated
