Android Central is reporting by tweet that the Sprint HTC Hero will get it's update on March 27th and the Moment will get it on March 24th. I don't see this on their website yet but if they are tweeting it, it should be available in other places soon.

Wow, you're quick. I just finished reading the same tweet myself. Hopefully this is really going to happen and it's not just another rumor.

I really hope it's true. I think that we have definitely waited long enough...not including the almost, month we have left.

From what I have read, yep, ROM goes away. Of course, there may be a way to avoid that but I have not rooted my phone so I have no idea.

If it does I won't use them. Just think of the battery and memory they will waste.

I just watched a video for the HTC Legend, running 2.1 and there was no mention or demonstration of live wallpaper. The reviewer did mention that HTC had modified some of the Google OS features.

live wallpapers would be pretty awsome looking on our phones but yes i agree with you it probably will use alot of batt and mem. but if so... how does the nexus do it without battery problems? does anyone know if the nexus has a history of battery problems ?
