I personally think Sprint and HTC did the right thing taking away the "chin". I think the UK Hero is Ugly and definately would have thought twice if it looked like that when it went on sale here. The first time I saw a picture of the sprint Hero I was like now thats what the phone is supposed to look like.
No offense to the chin lovers but it would have kept me from seriously considering the device.

If Sprint didn't drop the chin there would be people who would still get the device because of android and the fact that it wasn't the instincts brew OS. This predictive text input is great as I have been posting from my hero.

Chances are I would have ended up with the Pre, although no visual voicemail on that was the deal breaker for me.

The USA version says "Hello", the UK version says " Chim-chiminy, chim-chiminy, chim-chim-cha-roo".

'Nuff said.
