HTC Hero - Vibration issue

Hey whats up everyone? I just bought the HTC Hero sprint w/ google version. I feel like an idiot for buying this phone considering i didn't realize i couldnt use picture mail or flash. Didn't read that on the box Lol. I still like the phone, considering its my first "stupidphone" and i have no knowledge of these phones. I had to crank my old cell phone to charge the battery. anyways, now for my issue..... Vibration doesnt work. At all. Whats the deal? it could be a case of smart phone, stupid owner, but i tried messing with everything that i could think of and i couldnt find this topic anywhere. Has anyone had this issue? I appreciate any help i could get, or im just gonna bring it back

Have you tried going into Menu, Settings, Sounds and Display, and putting a check in the Phone Vibrate box? If this box is not selected, vibrate is not available for incoming calls.

bring it back to sprint and have them look at it... if it cant be fixed exchange it for another one. I got mine and the next day I noticed a dead pixel so I brought it back and exchanged it for another one.
