I tried to see if there was a thread already like this, so if there is, i'm sorry, point me in the direction and /close!

So, i have found that i am never satisfied with my home screen setup and am constantly changing it!  What is on your home screens?

My Home Screen has remained pretty constant with my most frequently used items. Weather, Calendar, PDA Net, Amazon Music, Android Marketplace, Camera, Bluetooth Toggle, and Handcent.

I also have a screen for just Music/Video apps, a screen for just phone/people, a screen for news/rss, and a screen for random crap that doesn't fit into any of the other categories.

ok i totally stole a couple of your ideas.  especially the screen for music/videos.

Question, what rss reader do you use?

I used RSS kind of loosely...I use Newsreader. But I have Newspaper, which gives me all kinds of popular newspapers from the US, Canada, and England.

Making each screen house a specific topic cuts down on the amount of searching that I have to do to find the app that I want. There are some apps that I haven't put on any screen because I don't use them very frequently. Those just stay in the app section and I open them when I need them.

I have the HTC clock with the weather, gmail, battery indicator, market, people, and handcent. A whole screen for apps. The Google calendar on one. Music and Google search on another. And the bookmarks widget on the other.

I like World Clock. This way, I know what time Godzilla will be attacking Tokyo.
I also LOVE HTC's mail.
There IS a Flash-based animated wallpaper out there, just can't find it. That would be
cool.

Here is a list of some favorite apps. I keep the center one relatively clear so the wallpaper stands out more, the rest has shortcuts and widgets like weather and mail.

That's good information, Godzilla's attacks are important!  I love the mail widget, but you can only pick one mailbox and i have four (aol, gmail, yahoo, live) and use them all for different things... i'd hate to pick just one!

That's a great idea about leaving the center one relatively blank... Smiley

Clock, battery, wifi, BT, ringer and gps widgets, browser and a shortcut to call my wife on the center screen. My favorite friends phones widget on another. Bookmarks widget on the next. Shortcuts to my favorite apps on another. And facebook... I add something everyday.
