I am currently running Win 6.1 on an AT&T Fuze with hacks and apps. The only phone service provider in my home area is Sprint, so I will be switching over to them. With Android 2 about to come out, I am trying to decide whether to stay with a Windows phone, or go to the HTC Hero or the Samsung Moment or chuck the whole thing and go back to tin cans and string. I also need to be able to synchronize my MS Outlook Contacts, Calander and e-mail with the new phone. HALP!!!!   Undecided

With the Hero it will take a while before android 2 is available due to HTC sense.  I have heard that HTC needs to re write parts in order for it to work on sense.  Other than that go to a sprint store and check them both out once the moment comes out.  Yes the Hero has some bugs, but what new phone doesnt.  I do know they are working on fixes and will be out soon.  For me I love my Hero it does everything I need it to do.  I basically have not been on my home PC since getting the hero.  I know the few bugs will be worked out, so I will be patient and enjoy my phone.  So just go check them out and see which one you like better.

Yes sprint has a very good selection of phones all of the sudden but the HTC hero is the best one available as of now. The Samsung moment will be available shortly but I personally am done with Samsung after my last phone. If you like a physical keyboard you should probably go with the new Samsung. But if it.is a virtual keyboard you.want then the hero wins hands down. I love this keyboard and many other things about this phone.

I have checked with Htc and they just informed me that the Hero is fully upgradeable to Android 2.0.   Grin
