hey guys.
thought i would join this site im getting the HTC HERO in the next few days and thought i could have a look round the site and see what info i can pick up.

You will not dissapointed with the HTC Hero. Its a great phone! Only downer is the battery life, but there is ways you can get around that. Hope you enjoy it

thanks njzfiinestkiid ive read a lot of reviews and the only concern a had was the batt,..
so cheers for that mate,
can i ask what u guys think of the apps ive been all over other sites and seen whats the best apps,,,.
but whats ur best apps....im 27 with ps3 but very new to this kinda phone and apps...
so all help is a apprecated...hope to speak to u guys soon..

Anytime! The apps are great, you can find a lot of free good apps in the market, but most of them are demos. I recommend when you get your hero that you get this app called Handcent SMS. Its an app for texting. When the Hero was made, it came with a problem with the messaging app that comes with the phone and it kills the battery even more. But if you take off the notifications on the original app and you handcent sms you will be fine. That app lets you costomize everything you want on it. The bubble color and the font color, also the type of font you want to use- all free of course. Hope everything works out for you!

cheers guys, cant wait till my hero finally arrives just found out i still have to wait a few more days as its out of stock where im getting it from i could go eles where but the misses is wanting a free gift (ps3) lol... thanks for the link njzfiinestkiid very very usefull. also looking forward to the games/demos that shoot you sounds like good fun... can i just ask if u have used the app (forget what its called) where if u loose ur phone it can be tracked down using the satelite..think that would be good for me as i loose or forget where i put everythin including phones...i did read about it but some guy said the app dont work or its been removed. thanks guys.

Flexilis/Lookout offers virus protection, backup, and lost phone finder all in one. I've used it for many months.

Anytime byatch...glad i could help! But yes, i've had looked into that app, but i never used it because i dont really need it. I've never lost any of my phones (thank god! lol) I always have my phone in my pocket or next to me..I feel lost when i dont have it close haha sorry that sounds weird but its true lol.

lol ^^^ we sure do,
it now turns out that the shop im getting it from might no longer ever get the hero back in stock, they say there aint 1 hero in the uk and that sucks BIGtime so there for im having to have a iphone and that will be here tomw.
not that happy but will for sure be getting a hero when i can.

you should just wait until the nexus one is released for sprint. Its official, its gonna come to sprint this year! Im so mad because i just upgraded when i bought my hero so im stuck with my Hero for awhile. I want a Nexus one so badddd!
