Hi, My name is Don, I bought the phone about 3 weeks ago, and found these forums while in search of answers.
Looks like I'll get more than the answers I was looking for.

Hey...My name is Chris and I recently bought a Propel Pro and so far so good....I've owned WM devices for a few years now and the one thing I really am annoyed at with the Propel Pro is the AT&T application lock. Alot of my favorite Windows Mobile apps will not install. I'm looking forward to learning and contributing in our quest to customize and use these new devices by Samsung....Thanks.

Hey everyone, my name is Imran or i_maq, I've pre-ordered my HTC Hero, should have by this time next week Cheesy This will be my first Android phone, been using Symbian S60 for 5 years! The Hero is the first non S60 phone that really appeals to me!

Hello All

I too have been using S60 for about 5 years... the hero is the one for me. It's the only phone that has made me give up my N95 8GB!!

My name is Ken.

Good to see there's a site just for the HTC Hero, I am looking forward for this phone to be arrived in next month.

HTC is definitely on the right track when it comes to smart phones.

Hi everyone!

I own a Samsung Eternity, and live in the US. I've been checking out some of the reviews on the Hero and I'm quite impressed by it, but first I need to test it myself and see if it fits my likes and needs.

But so far, all the internet sellers that carry the Hero sell the "import" type, which has different 3G frequencies than the ones used by the US carriers, so it wouldn't work here.

I guess I'll hafta wait for AT&T in the US to pick it up, maybe by the end of this year, so I can get my hands on it.  Smiley

Hi,

My name is Lucky.  I am an older person and am using a Nokia 6800.

I am considering the Hero because I want to try newer technology
but primarily want a good quality phone.  I am interested in 4-band.

No information about phone stuff on all the conversations.

Need to hear about that.

My long awaited HTC Hero arrives tomorrow and I couldn't wait to register on here - I'm sure there will be lots of information to share.

Having been near bored to death with mobiles (after selling them for 7 years) this phone has already rekindled my enthusiasm - I'm sure I won't be disappointed!

I'll put on a useful review once I've given it the once over!

Later!
