Hello, I'm Jesse and my new Hero will be arriving tomorrow afternoon. I have done a lot of research about this phone including reading/watching reviews of the phone and reading specifications about it. I am quite excited to get my new phone. I switched from the htc diamond and i have had many problems with it. I am looking forward to experiencing the hero for the first time tomorrow. i am also new to the android system, but I've heard great things about it and am very excited to test it out.

hello I have had a HTC touch for a year now and I do like it,  I am interested in getting an android phone and since I do like the HTC touch I am apt to stay with HTC... I will be reading the comments on this forum now and after I upgrade to an android phone.  I am really concerned with the cons mentioned in regards to the Hero in other sites.  Please if you want give me all the info you can.  I am trying to understand "root a phone"!  What are the reasons and benefits to "root" a phone?

Thanks Undecided

Hi, My name is Mike, I have just switched from the touch pro to the hero, I have a question: the Touch Pro allowed me to make calls via bluetooth simply by pressing the  earpiece button & then saying the name of who i wanted to call. My question is thus: is this possible with the hero? this was very very convient for it allowed me to make a call without removing the phone from my holster. I'd be disappointed if this was not possible with the hero. I'd appreciate it greatly if someone could provide the answer

have a good day
