Hello my name is Karrie and I am in love with gaming and I bought the HTC Hero cause I was advise that this phone would support Flash for my gaming. I am not having much luck so I joined the forum to learn more and find out my answers needed!!   Wink

Good luck with Flash. We have Adobe Flash lite on this phone and maybe I'm wrong but any flash files that didn't work on my previous phone haven't worked on this one. There is a Flash 10 in the works but whether it will end up on this phone is hard to say.

I hope that others will comment on this topic because I am curious to know if I gave up prematurely on using the Flash player or if it really is pretty useless.

I too an looking for some old schoolers on here that might be able to tell us if this phone is going to operate with flash. It seems pretty senseless to advertise this phone as the first to be shipped with flash capability when ... there is no flash for it! UHG

Any comments anyone?

The Hero does have flash support.  The problem is that the Hero has flash "lite".  It will play some flash elements in some websites, but I have no idea how it makes the distinction of what it plays and what it doesn't.

Sorry to jump in. Does this mean that it's not possible to listen to music on Myspace atm? Sad Not cool. Harij

I don't know, I don't use Myspace. Each site is different you would have to try it out.

I don't know, I don't use Myspace. Each site is different you would have to try it out.

I've tried sub.fm flash player, RBMA flash player and myspace. None of these are recognized on my Hero Sad Still a brilliant device just feel a bit mis-informed. Cheers!

I read an old article that was written when the Hero released that said, Hulu works. I checked it out...FAIL!

Yeah, it's a start and Flash 10 is suppose to be on the Nexus and it's a full version of Flash. So, maybe my next Android phone will support Hulu, which would be awesome.
