I've had my Hero about 3 weeks now but I just registered on this site today. LOVE the Hero. I previously had a Touch Pro (UGH!!), and had so many problems with it. So, I was torn between the Touch Pro 2 and the Hero. My husband bought the TP2 (verizon) and I wasnt feeling it. Too big and bulky for my small hands. Plus Android is WAY better (and cooler, lol) than win. mobile. Anyhow, cant wait to start browsing and learning new stuff about my phone. Great site, thanks!

Welcome to the site. You should find some useful information here to help you get started. I would suggest that you skip the Android Marketplace and go to androlib.com to look at apps, read reviews and such. Then, when you're ready, you can use the Marketplace app on the phone to download the apps you want.

Well I've had the phone a while now and have downloaded a lot of apps. I'll check out that website, tho. Thanks!
