Hey, how's the Hero treating everyone? Well I don't have one yet, but I I do decide to get one soon, I have some questions. When will it come in black like in this video?

What do you miss from the Instinct that this doesn't have? I've read "this is everything we wanted and then some" But come on there has to be at least something little this phone lacks of the Instinct.

ROFLMAO @ "what do you miss from the Instinct?" There is ABSOLUTELY NOTHING that I miss about the Instinct!!!! I have a regret and that is that I stopped at the Instinct HD before coming to the Hero. Don't get me wrong, the Instinct was cool for what it was but you really can't compare a "feature phone" to a "smart phone"..

That having been said, this phone is not perfect and there are some things that I would like to see improved like the bluetooth and its functionality with my car. However, the Hero does soooooo much RIGHT that I can deal with the one or two things that maybe aren't so great. The funniest thing for me is that using the phone is actually the hardest part for me. There is sometimes a slight delay before it dials or hangs up and for some reason if I am on the phone screen and turn my phone landscape it dials the most recent number...very odd(a glitch in my phone I'm guessing). BUT I STILL would not even consider going back to the Instinct.

I will upgrade when Sprint comes out with the next HTC Android phone that has a larger screen. Maybe the one that's rumored to be coming wih a 4.3 inch screen. I use this phone just like I use my computer...can't say that for the Instinct. I am very, very impressed with HTC:)

"Where" works much the same way with a few more features and a few more steps but you'll get used to it pretty quickly.

Currently we have the basic Google Maps and Sprint Navigation. When we get the update to 2.1 we will have the voice activated Google Navigation.

Dude face it....this is the phone that we thought the original Instinct was going to be. I can go toe-to-toe with any Iphone. Can you say multitasking because apps ALWAYS run in the background. I've read several posts on other forums where people say that hardly use their laptops anymore because they are addicted to this phone.

I will have to find the more detailed post but here is a more generic one. When I got my new phone, for several reasons my renewal date didnt change and I still qualify for an upgrade. I paid 129 for the Hero so I am going to upgrade when a bigger screen comes out and then I am done for a minute.

Edit - found it...it is supposedly called the HTC Supersonic.

Awesome! I love big screens, and android, and my 22 month renewal looks like it will be here just in time for this release. I think Ill wait to see more updates on the winmax.

Well, crap. There goes the neighborhood.   Grin

Welcome my fellow grape soda drinker!!  LOL  Hey J, if you are interested in a black Hero you should look into these.  I had one on my Instinct and they fit perfect and you could have any picture or color you want.
