Hi all,
I dropped my HTC Hero in water accidentally, took 3 seconds to pull it out, 7 seconds to open the cover and remove the battery. When I was pulling the battery out the handset's screen (that prior to that was off and locked) was now on, but no sign of any other thing. I put it in rice and in well conditioned and warm room (not in reach of direct heat or extra heat, just the normal room temperature) and left it there for 2 days. When I turned it back on, everything was the same, except for one thing, that I do not know how to fix, and if it will be fixed at all.
There are lines (vertical, horizontal and reclined but parallel) on my screen from the inside, just like you have tried to clean a glass table with a wet and dirty towel and its mark is there after drying.
Any idea if I can ever clean it, and if yes, how?
Thank you.
