It may have a better processor, gpu etc... but it looks like a**.  I would gladly pay for a Hero over a free Droid any day. I personally think the Hero is a better phone because it fits my needs better also the fact the slide out keyboards make every phone that I have seen feel cheap and toy like.

Oh hey, look at that.  I like purple. LOL

With a name like droid you really don't expect to see beauty do ya? Yeah it has its positive but be honest the hero do all what the droid does and after 2.o its a wrap......the droid is hideous..

yeah they put no thought into that droid design at all, HTC is the best for droid at the moment, well i like the Samsung Moment, but that's even better than the DROID in my opinion!!!

I have a coworker that got the droid around the same time as I got my Hero, so we were showing off our phones the next day. She's a little envious, to say the least  Grin

The way the Hero looks compared to the droid, the HTC Sense UI and the widgets it supports. I don't give a damn if the Hero doesn't have a proximity sensor or if it doesn't have a better processor, I think the Hero is a better phone and the droid is an overhyped, overpriced P.O.S.
