Don't know specifics but I've heard webos is slow and not supported well compared to android os.

yeah, some have Windows Mobile, some are the Black Berry Network, some are Android, some are WebOS, how do you determine what OS is the best unless i got all the different phones and found out for myself.

You have to use Google and search each OS and determine the features that they offer and then decided what YOU need. Phone decisions are very specific to the individual. I personally would do my homework before I go to the Sprint store and not allow the rep in the store to tell me what phone I need. There is enough information on the Internet for me to spend some time researching. I am not trying to be mean but this is a forum for the HTC Hero so no one here really specializes in all of the different phones that are available. In my opinion the Hero and the Pixi are two very different phones geared at two very different audiences, which I have found from reading the reviews of both on the Internet.

The Pixi is just as the Palm Pre, but with smaller screen and is not 'slider'.
Also the camara is 2MP instead of 3MP as the Pre, and does not have WiFi.
(That is why the price difference)

If I'm not mistaken the design was toward young audiences/teens.

Any way, Hero is the way to go.   Cool

My wife has the Pre and now wants my Phone.  She is not a tech wizz, and can tell there is a big difference between them by playing just a couple of minutes with mine.
