So...........

I'm in Baltimore, and we're forecasted to receive between a foot and 2 feet of snow in the next 24-36 hrs........ And I'm @ work right now, and have to work 6:45pm to 6:45am tonight, when it's supposed to be the worst  :Smiley  (Essential employee). Good times. FML.

Yea....... about getting home,

Here I am 17 hours later and I am still here @ work. Didn't want to risk not being able to get in tonight. Hopefully @ 0545 when it is time for me to leave the roads will be clear, the snow is forecasted to end @ 0400. So far we have approx. 20 inches, with the possibility of another 3-5 inches in the next 9 hours or so. I managed to sleep from 9-4pm or so. I dunno how much of that time was actually sleeping. I finally got tired of laying there, so I went out and snapped a few pics on my phone. This is @ Shock Trauma in downtown Baltimore. The first is on our helipad 8 stories above the streets. They had bobcats and snowblowers clearing the snow. The mounds of snow up therewere 4-6 feet high. The second was shot outside our ambulance bay/ER entrance looking up Penn St. towards Lombard St.

I hate snow............

The snow ended up stopping finally around 2100 Saturday night. I actually made it home Sunday morning around 0620 or so. Visions I had of crawling into my own bed scattered as soon as I realized just how much it snowed @ my house, and how much snow I had to shovel just to park my car.

Yeah...but I hear a warm, soft, comfortable bed is overrated.  Glad you made it home...

I was at Connecticut the last 2 weeks. Flew back to Puerto Rico on Saturday... just in time! Here it is 75-90F  Tongue . My clients said they got 17+ inches of snow.

I love my weather! Hurricanes are just Nature's hiccups...  Grin
