Search this site for "rom "and "root" and you will find some options. It depends on what you like, I used the 2.0.1 rom but I haven't done anything else because I am still trying to understand what it all means. The 2.0.1 rom is also a .exe file so I didn't have to put it on the memory card and all of that. It installed like a regular update. Stay away from the 2.1 leaked rom from Sprint because it will remove root access from your phone and as far as I know, you can't get it back. I had to have Sprint send me another phone.

I rooted a few weeks ago and I'm happy that I did. I now have an app that make all of the text on the phone larger.

Font Size.

If you use it, each time you change the font size, you have to restart your phone or you won't see a difference.

It was not possible to re-root the phone. Nothing worked. I had a legitimate problem with the update so Sprint sent me another phone. This one does not have the Sprint 2.1 update on it and it never will.
