He has no inside track. Sorry! I can tell you this if the Nexus or Evo come before we get the update, I'm ditching this phone for one of those.

Just got the text from Android Central and Android and Me (on my phone, no hearsay) and the upgrade to 2.1 has been pushed back to "early May"! UGH. Come on Nexus One.

I just saw that the update was pushed back to early May as well. This is stupid. Just don't tell us anything and then just surprise us with a nice message on the phone saying it's time to update. Gees.

Not only was the update pushed back to May, yesterday word started coming out that Google is working on Android 2.2. I'm over it. I'm getting the Nexus One, either from Sprint or Tmobile. I love Android but I believe my best bet for timely, consistent updates will occur only if I get the phone directly from Google. I don't blame Sprint or HTC because I am sure these updates are a PITA. However, we have waited almost 6 months for an update and when we get it, if the rumors are true, it will be obsolete.

.....um, no they didn't.....? where did you get this info?? My boyfriend has the Moment and reads every blip that Sprint, Samsung, and Android releases, and it has not come out yet. They are both going to be released at the same time apparently?

Yep it was posted that the Moment would get the update on April 30 and the Hero the first week of May. Then, the Moment update didn't happen. Now, it's back to waiting.
