Software Update

I saw this today and clicked to update. It did something but I can't find what. If you figure it out please post. Thanks.

Software update available for HTC EVO 4G and HTC Hero

Today Sprint announced that it is issuing an over-the-air update for the HTC EVO 4G that corrects an issue with the microSD card that was issuing errors after photos were taken or when some users were accessing the card. There's also an update for the HTC Hero, although Sprint didn't detail what the update fixed or added. You can manually check for the update by going to Settings > System updates, and selecting HTC software update.

I've only seen the following ideas behind the update:

-It updates HTC Sense to fix security issues brought up shortly before the EVO launch.
-From what I've read it looks like it might just be a patch to fix the root exploit.
- Sprint desired a patch since 2.27.651.5 had been rooted
- HTC Evo (and Hero) suffered from a problem with SD card usage by apps
